Marriage I am 25 years old, currently continuing my medical education with the aim of becoming a radiologist, Inshalla. I have graduated medical school this year with distinction and before that graduated with a B.S. in chemistry with distinction (both from the American University of Beirut). My short term plan is to travel to continue my medical education in the United States, Inshalla. This year, I am doing one year of internal medicine at AUH (American University Hospital). When I first entered university, I was at a crossroads. It was either atheism, with an attempt of explaining existence and being with science; or, accepting a religion that matches my way of thinking- which in this case is rigorous scientific methodology. During my first year in University, at AUB, I have come across a book about the scientific miracles in the Quran. As I read about them, it became clear to me that Islam is the true religion (as it has to numerous thinkers and scientists that have come across similar information sources). Now, I try to live my life in a way that best conforms to Islam. My hobbies are playing soccer and watching cartoons and comedies. I enjoy talking with friends about things of interest, and find it very important that the people I spend a lot of time with have a good sense of humor as well as a sense of maturity and the ability of carrying on an intelligent conversation.
A women age between 18-23, that is interested in marriage (soon), and that would be willing to travel and live in the United States, if that is not the place of residence (at least for the period of radiology residency). I am interested in a woman who is a Muslim, one that believes and practices Islam (preferably veiled). I want her to be one I would be completely comfortable with, one I would not hold any secrets from, one I would turn to for advice and strength and one who would find the same in me. I like her to be flexible, open-minded and confident.
