About me

I am at a point in my life where I can honestly say that I am interested in finding a man that I can build a solid relationship with; something more than casual dating or the whole "friends with benefits" thing. I want more from someone. I can laugh at just about anything, even if it is at my own expense. I don't take things life throws at me too seriously, yet at the same time I am able to work hard and play hard. My two favorite and most important rules in life are: 1) Treat others how you would want to be treated and 2) You never know a man until you walk a mile in their shoes. I value education (whether it be book smarts or just just being informed about the world around you) and think it is important to surround yourself with all different types of people. I can have fun at the classiest of parties, or hang out with the guys and some beer and wings. It doesn't matter what I am doing, but who I am surrounded with. I consider myself a very open person. Ask me anything and I will give you an answer. I can be shy at first (sometimes) but once you get to know me I can be hard to shut up :)

You enjoy some of the finer things in life on occasion, but are not materialistic and realize there is way more to life than money can buy. You are well educated (whether it be through school, through travel, or just pure passion). Smart is sexy! You are mature, can laugh at yourself, and still manage to smile and find humor in even the most stressful situations. You don't play games with women and aren't afraid to express your feelings. You have to be able to handle my sarcasm and my "tell it like it is" comments. You cant be offended easily or mind that sometimes I swear like a sailor. You believe in chivalry and don't do it just to IMPRESS a woman, you do it because you know thats how a woman SHOULD be treated (I may swear like a sailor, but I'm old fashioned when it comes to chivalry like a man opening a car door for a woman, allowing a woman to order her dinner first, or holding a door open for a woman...) You are a passionate person. You are romantic and know sometimes just being silent can be more expressive than words.
