In the summer I like to swim, go to the beach and go camping. I enjoy fishing very much. I also like to cook, and I love to barbecue outside on the grill. I love to have romantic dinners with my lady, set a table with candles and flowers, and enjoy some delicious food. I like to visit with family and friends. And of course, I love to talk to my friends on the computer! I will tell you more about me. I was born here in eastern North Carolina, and have lived in this area for most of my life. I was the youngest of 3 sons, my father was a School Administrator, a Principle, and my Mother was a home-maker, and part time substitute teacher. I had a very happy childhood growing up. We used to go on family camping trips to Kerr Lake every year. When I was a teenager several bad things happened. My parents divorced when I was 14, and the next year my oldest brother Steve died. He was 8 years older than me. My father remarried 2 more times before I was 18 years old and left home. After my mother, he had 2 more bad marriages. This is why at 46 years old I have never been married. I do not have any children. I have had several long relationships, but I think I was afraid of marriage, because I saw how people change so quickly sometimes. I do want to marry one day, I just have to find the right woman for me. I seek a kind hearted woman, sweet and loving. I do not like to argue and fight. I am a very kind and happy man, I like to joke and laugh. I like to show affection. I am self employed. I have my own small business as a Contractor, a handyman. I repair houses and rental apartments. I am not rich, but I have a comfortable life and do not want for anything, except a nice woman to share life with. I have strong devotion to family, and I give and want fidelity in a relationship. I have come on-line to make new friends, meet new people. I hope along my journey that I will meet the right woman and fall deeply in love. I have been dating until recently, my last relationship just ended. I am not someone who likes to be alone. I have a nice family, and I love them very much. Family is important to me. I am also spiritual, and believe in God. I do attend a Christan Church, but I do not always go every week. I am a happy person. I try and focus on the good parts of life, and not dwell on the bad, We all have problems, but we need only to look around and see how many people who do not have it as good as we do.
