About me

My name is meetz and I'm 23. I live my sweetmum Virginia Beach, an East coast state in the US known for its beaches by tourists but for its traffic by locals. I grew up about 1/2 hour from the Canadian border in New Hampshire and earned a BA in English Literature from a small state college in Vermont. I miss my home state and all the friends and family still there. (My fiance is in the Navy which is why we moved here. Norfolk, Virginia has the world's largest Navy base.) In my spare time I love to write. I keep a diary which keeps me sane, but also have short stories, two different novels and occasional poems in the works too. I'll read anything really (except trashy romance) but mostly Non-Fiction. I love reading about the Tudor era in British History and am currently reading Somerset's biography of Queen Elizabeth I. I also enjoy reading first person accounts from any particular time. I read multiple books at a time and browse "Smithsonian" and "National Geographic" magazines frequently. I guess you could say I'm a geek. I'm looking to correspond with anyone really. As an Anglophile, if you're British all the better, but I'm really not that picky as long as you have a brain and don't want me for a online fling. I can only handle one man at a time afterall!! haha. I have a sarcastic sense of humor and like to make people laugh. I want to communicate with anyone via email or regular letter about day to day things. Hope to hear from you all.
