My name is Josh. I’m a Midwest-born Indie kid who was slightly displaced at birth, about 600 miles southwest of my true destination. I’m an extraverted independent, logical thinker who is patient, optimistic, and an equal opportunity lover to the outdoors and indoors. I’m a self-motivator with a vision and direction of the world and cultures. I’m open-minded and never quick to judge a person’s character and I always try to find the best qualities of everyone. The things I want from this world are experiences, challenges, and purpose. In return, I shall give love, inspiration, and semi-quirky humor. I do NOT enjoy long walks on beaches, as I have never had the opportunity to be on one of the coasts of the U.S. However, I imagine that I would enjoy them shortly before I run to the shoreline carrying a board in an attempt to go surfing. I’m a combination of being adventurous and impulsive, which leads to me being a jack of many trades. I enjoy playing soccer, mountain bicycling, shooting paintball, and just climbing in trees that I haven’t before. On the extreme, I want to go skydiving, chase tornados, and pilot small planes; and on a wild day I would like to do all three simultaneously. Indoor activities are some of my favorite, such as drawing/painting, editing computer graphics/animation, board games, reading, listening to and creating music. Then on other days, nothing beats sitting down and cracking open a nice cold Mountain Dew® and starting up a computer game. It’s always something different. I’m a self proclaimed liberal, and agnostic in faith. However, I am by no means closed to other points of view. I often discuss topics with people with opposing viewpoints, just because I always learn something new from a different perspective. I value a person’s character and integrity more than their political party affiliation. Actions are always more meaningful than words, and build personal creditability. I do believe in ghosts oddly enough, but I’ve successfully explained them by means of the 11 dimensions in string theory and other advanced theories of physics.
I’m looking for someone who has an open-minded intelligence; someone who will not hesitate to challenge my balance. I want to communicate with someone who will offer their life experiences, and listen to my deepest inquisitions. I am not looking for someone to immediately marry, buy a house, have kids, and otherwise engage into the “American Nightmare” with. I can possibly see myself doing those things in life someday, but I want to enjoy my youth. Here’s something that has to get out of the way: sex. I believe it is a crucial part of a balanced healthy relationship. Often regarded as the third rail in dating, sex is something that should be equated in the process of determining sexual compatibility. For me, I’m very open and patient to what another person may want, need, or be comfortable with. In this category, I can modestly say I’m a gentleman. You should message me if …if you would like to receive one good hug! Also, I prefer non-creepy stalkers. I generally enjoy a good conversation with anyone, so feel free to shoot me an email then maybe we can move on to IM or whatever may come next. In terms of a dating prospect, I have some simple preferences: You should be younger than 30, so that our lives are somewhat aligned. I don’t really dig on gold excavators. I’ll definitely pay for a meal or two, but I want to become bankrupt from buying expensive jewelry every week. I like kids, but I’m not quite ready to be a part of that life. Again, preservation of youth. I like someone who is relatively social and enjoys both going out and staying in. If you want to know more, just send a message!
