About me

I am a lady, not ready to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair and watch the world go by. I like having fun as long as it's good, clean, wholesome (but not stuffy, goody goody) fun. I enjoy the outdoors as well as inside entertainment. I love to dance, listen to music (gospel, blue grass, country, 50's), go for long, or short rides, travel, (by road or cruise). My first love is Jesus. I hesitate to say that for fear of being thought of as an old fuddy duddy. I believe He created fun and happiness and there is nothin wrong with enjoying either. I am protestant (Baptist, & or Methodist. Have belonged to both and sometimes visit other denominations). I am a divorcee (2 times) and really am not looking for another marriage, but don't object to the thought of the posibility if the right person came along. I don't believe in arguing, fighting, or negativism. I thing adults should be able to discuss differences and it isn't necessary to think alike on everything. Having a different opinion on things doesn't make either right or wrong. Just different viewpoints. I believe in respecting each others opinions and thoughts. I want a man who isn't afraid to be a man; open my doors for me, defend me, give me flowers, show me off, be proud to be with me. I can be very nice to someone who can and will be good to me. I can be a good helpmate as well as a leader when occasions arise. I guess I am just trying to say I want a warm and peaceful relationship with someone I can trust to be there for me. I still work because I need to. The bank & I own my home. Have my own car (not new, but pretty dependable). I currently have a handicapped son and a daughter sharing my home. Neither of these are permanent arrangements. I feel I am leaving nothing for you to discover about me so this is enough.
