Other than running my own business, I have worked for a popular online dating site for years. These scammers are all the same. They even use the same email templates.

This is what the emails should say : "I'm from America [most likely a city near you] I'm travelling on business, oh no I lost my wallet, all I have is these fake money orders that I need you to cash, when you cash them they will make your account bounce after you western union me all of the money and we never will have contact again. I have sucker you."

And the really sad thing is I am starting to see more woman get scammed but, Men have it really bad. They see a cute picture of some sexy woman and the account was really started by some sick perv man.

I want everyone to be aware but not fearful, we all are grown ups and we should be able to spot things like this out. There are scammers, but it is still a smaller percentage than ppl who are truly looking for someone. Just be careful and never give any personal info [including personal email address]

Yeah, I been too many site but i never encounter about scammer from there. This is the only site that a lots of scammers ect..... But I am smart enough though.

well i recieved many like this message and i dont bother ,all the same so need money for sick mom and some need money for cam etc it wont stope

think that is bad somebody asked me to but them a £500 pound ring, and only knew him/her/it for 5 min, she was told to f**k away off, and scam someone else, this did not go down to well, she flipped and called me everything, so ended up ignoring her

Right here we go, I’ve been using computer and internet for a long time since 2000, I have checked out all the different ways in which scammers work on the fabulous internet sites so..if you travel to Africa for work or charity reasons, if you are from UK or USA and you got stuck in Africa, if u have a parent who has died and you need to get hold of money, if u want my address to send packages are to be shipped anywhere ,example Africa, or you want to send me a check and put in my account and then send the rest to you, if u fall in love with me or have strong feelings for me within 2-5 days, and calls me angel, baby anything sweet words. If you are ok and very wealthy, If you have kids and wife died on accident or messed up with somebody, If you don’t have a webcam and dont wanna be seen, If you struggle remembering name and wont you put your real pic on your profile, if u say you are from uk or usa and your English and spelling is totally shit, If u look like a model then you most probably are, something else etc,They are scammers. Please dont listen to these people and just ignored at once.

This is a classic 419 Nigerian style scam setup.
These types of scams are usually run by whole families. Most even have several contacts world wide and belong to scam groups.
Not only do these type of scammers try to lure someone in, they also find different ways to insert viruses or Trojans into your computer. Do not correspond with someone trying this type of scam. many try different Phishing techniques while they correspond with you. They are trying to get one to pay the fees involved and you will never see one red cent. Do not use messenger and especially picture share with them. They will use your pics and info to run more scams against others.
Who in their right mind would use a stranger to work with millions of dollars? Not me! NOPE!

Thanks, Babes. This was widespread and seemed to stop but I see they're starting up again. I gotr a similar one awhile back but I just deleted it. Seems these scammers never tire of trying an old scam in a new way.

it is frustrating when you know something isnt right about someone and its not that i test them or try to prove it they just screw up on there own but unfortunately i lose time talking to them i guess thats not bad if your bored but i have better things to do/yesterday i just forwarded some pages to a women(i hope) i don't know really know after what i read scam watch.yep everything that was common strategy for a dating scam was being used im a compassionate guy that helps when i can if i know who im helping but i think with any healthy amount of skepticism u can shake out the fake

i have been to alot of sites free and paid. scammers are everywhere. using all different kinds of schemes. they even try to get you on your regular emails.

This site is full of scammers,particularly from Ghana.Mind you,anybody who would fall for a trick like that needs their head examining.

hi babes31hk you really great and true person..yeah you are correct sad to say they are some filipina are scammer too..they make our country in a list of scammer hope that they will stop to scamm other people..Filipino is known as hospitable, sweet,caring, devoted, industrious and hardworking..we can make money by working hard.. hope that they did not forget this attitude of being filipino..

if you get them in your email such as hotmail or yahoo..you can forward them to spam@uce.gov this is a federal government site especially made for scammer emails..the government is trying to go after these people..... these people have scammed over a billion dollars so far..it is sad that there are so many people who are so lonely, that they can be taken in by these people... just always remember Never send money or accept gifts from anyone you meet online until you have met them in person...good luck and don't give up..there are really some nice people on these sites.... and it is not just this site, they hit hard

Usually they start out with that there father had a goldmine and now hes dead,so if you would just help the person getting out of the country then
they will promise to give you XXX numbers of million $
It´s geeting boring to watch all those scammers,so i have stopped emailing with people from africa at all.
