SimplyRomantic

the OFFICIAL "Simply Romantic Newsletter"

I am often asked about my name "simply romantic" well it comes from this newsletter i write each week with the same title.... it has been suggested that i post it here in my blogs so i think i will start doing that and welcome your comments:
IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS
Putting your lip print on a piece of paper and
laminating it for your sweetheart's wallet
(this idea is obviously for my female subscribers)
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
 CREATING A CULTURAL CALENDAR
No matter how small or large of a city you live in, you are bound to
hear people with the same complaint: "there is nothing to do here."
and I think that is just TOTALLY untrue.
If one knows where to look and if you look often enough, there is
always something going on somewhere. One thing I began doing recently is keeping a "cultural calendar" to make myself familiar
with all the festivals and events that are available in my hometown as well as surrounding areas.
When I read the Sunday paper and notice something interesting coming
up I cut it out, and then put the details on my calendar. I do the
same thing with the weekly entertainment papers I read. I asked to
be put on the mailing list for the various museums and concert
promoters in the area and they each send me a yearly calendar.
Often, some of the more interesting events can't afford a large
advertisement (or don't even need to advertise) so it is important to
take a look at the listings of upcoming events printed in the local
paper. By writing down these events there is never an excuse of
"there is nothing to do around here" and I don't miss the shows I
really think might help to create a romantic experience.
There is probably 10 times more events on my calendar than I would
ever have the time to do. but Like a Boy Scout, a TRUE romantic is always
prepared.
