  The Black Manta, TR-3, an aircraft that supposively doesn’t exist has the ability to hover silently. There are said to be two very different versions, the TR-3A and the TR-3B. The first is supposed to be about 45 feet long and 15 feet high, with a 65 foot wingspan. The second is said to be a massive 600 feet across.
  This black project allegedly is a tactical reconnaissance aircraft and has an outer coating that reacts to electrical radar stimulation and can change reflectiveness, radar absorptiveness, and color. This super stealth aircraft is said to be able to fly as high as 125,000 feet and travel as fast as Mach 9!

Bob Lazar is the main reason the public is aware of Groom and Papoose Lake today. When he went public in 1989, he ignited a firestorm of interest in Area 51 which burns to this day. As most of you already know, Lazar described how he was flown from Las Vegas to Groom Lake, then taken on a bus with blacked out side windows to a facility he determined was known as S-4.

Lazar claims to have received a short briefing paper about two pages long which essentially stated that extraterrestrial exist, they have been involved in human history and their spacecraft are being housed at S-4

 

  Lazar described the facility as being built into the base of the Papoose Range, with 9 hangar doors sloped at about a 60 degree angle. He said the doors had a sand-like texture coating to them, and Gene Huff later said the doors were rollup type doors. There were 9 of the hangar bays in all.

S-4 is located just southwest of Area 51. Over the mountain range that many speculate is a huge underground base.

On the 3rd of October 1997 a group of people from four states gathered at Newburgh, NY, for a three day field trip.  This was no ordinary group of people.  They all belonged to MUFON, and came together to perform an experiment.  They wanted to see if ten people could work together as one, and collect data at night using various types of instruments and cameras.  They also wanted to try to duplicate some of the results of Bruce Cornet, who had been studying the Pine Bush phenomenon since June of 1992.

The team met and stayed at the Super 8 Motel in Newburgh, NY, and had an organizational meeting at a Holiday Inn nearby.

 

Rick Atristain organized the project, while Bruce Cornet provided the field locations for their nighttime experiment.  The first location where the team set up their equipment was along Muddy Kill Lane, located on the eastern side of a low ridge along the western side of the Wallkill River Valley. 

 

Two theodolites were used in order to track objects in the sky, determine their trajectories, triangulate their distances and altitudes, and record communications between pilots and the tower at Stewart International Airport.  Rich Atristain gives members of the team a lesson in how to use the surveying equipment.

That location could not be maintained when local residents complained about our activities, and Montgomery police asked us to locate somewhere else.  The police chief, Sergeant Edward Clancy, was kind enough to offer his property for us to conduct our experiment, but because it was not close to where Cornet had done his research, the Owen dairy farm was chosen instead.

The team examines the Indian mound located on the Owen dairy farm at the center of the UFO hotspot.  The aerial shot below, taken on 10 May 1994, shows the raised mound with remnant hexagonal shape, and another permanent circular feature to the west.  It is from the small field just west of the circular feature that an AOP/UAP rose up two years earlier (see time exposures below).  Circular discolorations in the grasses can still be seen from the air, years after they were made by craft landing and taking off from there.

The field between the mound and circle was measured, the theodolites set up and the distance between them measured, an cameras on tripods positioned in order to record aerial objects from different angles.

Jim Bouk points to a woodchuck hole on top of the Indian mound, while Alexander Zikas takes notes on the types of material brought to the surface by the woodchuck.  That material consisted mostly of stream pebbles and orange-brown soil, implying that it was built up and not the product of natural erosion.
On 28 October 1995 another group of people witnessed an AOP (UAP of Dr. Richard F. Haines) turn on its plasma headlights, lift off from a small field to northwest of the Indian mound, and arc its way across the northern sky before descending to a field to the southeast of the mound.  The craft took three minutes to reach its apogee before starting its descent.

The Anomaly

For most of the evening the team saw and recorded conventional aircraft either flying towards or from Stewart International Airport, or flying at high altitude over the valley.  If it hadn't been for the recording of a pilot asking the control tower to "Check those runway lights up nice and bright for us," the sighting of an unusual aircraft might have peaked more curiosity.  See Sound Analysis for a detailed explanation of what the spectrogram below shows.

It wasn't until Cornet had his film developed that he discovered the first two anomalies: Lights that appeared to strobe on the time exposures, but which did not strobe on the video, and glowing bars of light across the leading edges of both wings.  In addition, the running lights on the video appear normal: White, green, and red.  But all the lights on the time exposures are a golden color.  None are white, green, or pure red.  Seven still frames from the video are presented, showing the boomerang from directly below at 10:53:12 pm to showing it turning and moving away from the camera.   18 seconds of video are presented, with the last image at 10:53:30 pm viewing the boomerang from behind.  The time exposure on the right represents about 20 seconds of time, with the central strobe firing once every three seconds.

Whenever Cornet can get the help of commercial pilots and aircraft specialists in identifying aircraft, he presents them with his data.  Bill Ristau analyzed the pictures above, and came back with the following comments.

Dr. Cornet, The pics of this wild looking "craft" appear to be what some observers call, the "Boomerang". The thing that caught my attention immediately, was the wing dihedral. It appears to portend an angle of 15 to 20 degrees or more. I do not remember ever flying any aircraft with more than about 5 to 7 degrees of dihedral. Dihedral enhances stability during turns. I'm guessing that this craft also has low speed capabilities, looking at your time exposed pic. This is speculation on my part, but the extreme angle of descent, not ending in a crash, might well be proof of that. It's another mystery ship, Bruce. I suppose it is one of ours (Its only money, right?).
As you well know, all airports are locked down now (since 9/11). Although I have credentials, they will not allow me to visit the ramp at Atlanta's Hartsville International Airport. The best that I can do, at this time, is to send you a site that will show a daytime pic of a DC-9. There are other airliners on the site. I think that all are daytime pics. Image Analysis

  1. There is no reflection of light off of a forward-projecting fuselage, and no reflection of light off of a tail section.  If this aircraft had a tail and nose section, its bright lights would reflect off of some part of those structures.  Compare the two images below:

  2. There is no reflection of light off of engine pods.  There is no elongate dark silhouette where a fuselage would be on a conventional aircraft.  Instead, the fuselage appears to be trapezoid in shape, with a square, box-like front.

  3. The running lights and strobes are asymmetrically positioned, which is highly unusual - especially for so many of them being asymmetrical.  This condition is not typical of conventional aircraft.  The landing lights and strobes are also located too close to the center line of the aircraft, something rarely seen for conventional aircraft.  The image below is looking at the boomerang from directly below.

  4. The colors of the strobes and running lights are off.  This could be due in part to the CCD chip, and its inability to capture the correct color hues, but some of the colors are distinctly off hue for conventional aircraft lights.  The green wingtip light is blue-green in color, while the red strobes flash orange-red and purple-red.  Very similar anomalies and blue-colored lights were noted for a mantaray-shaped craft that Cornet caught on video flying sideways over his neighbor's property in Red Bank, NJ, on 24 April 1997.  See Another Performance.

  5. The dihedral angle of the wings is incorrect for a conventional aircraft.  As Bill Ristau pointed out above, the dihedral angle of this aircraft is 15-20 degrees or more.  NO conventional or military aircraft has its wings forming a V-shape like this - not even the B-2 stealth bomber, which has hardly any dihedral angle at all.  The image below is looking at the boomerang from behind, not from directly below it.  If this were the B-2 bomber, the apparent dihedral angle of the wings would have decreased to near zero in this picture.

  6. The time exposure shows all the lights to be of a similar golden color.  Only the central bright light, which occasionally flashes red on the video, has an aura of red around it in the time exposure.  The bar-like slats along the leading edge of the wings glow and pulse in time with the wingtip lights, something that is not seen in the video shots.  Forward slats on conventional aircraft do not reflect light from nearby strobes, even though they are extended during landing.  Thus, the question must be asked: Why does the video not agree with the time exposure?  Why are the colors so different between the two media?  Why do the two bright round lights in the center of each wing not show up very well on the time exposure (is this just a problem of orientation?), along with the other colored lights?  In The Experiment, Cornet presents evidence that these types of anomalous craft can project different images to cameras positioned next to one another.

Sound Analysis

The sound produced by the boomerang-shaped aircraft resembles that of a conventional jetliner to the unaided ear.  However, frequency spectral analysis reveals the very same types of characteristics noted for other anomalous craft caught on video and/or audio over the Pine Bush hotspot by Cornet between 1992 and 1997.  The sound spectra are quite different from that of conventional aircraft jet engines in the following ways:

  1. There is little or no white noise.  White noise from jet engines typically ranges from 2 kHz up to 8 kHz, but the spectrogram of the boomerang shows no white noise and the highest frequencies reaching only 2.4 kHz.  A frequency spectrogram for a commercial jetliner is shown below.

  2. In addition, the frequencies of conventional jet engines tend to blend together to form gradational frequency changes.  Although some frequency banding occurs, the frequencies are not divided into eight distinct frequency bands as they are for the boomerang.

Conclusions

  1. The Pine Bush Boomerang has been reported by various people living in Orange and Ulster counties over the years.  Ellen Crystall was one of the first people to report this type of craft in her book, Silent Invasion.  She notes that boomerangs come in small and large varieties (Crystall, 1991, p. 115).  The small one is described as being about 25 feet from tip to tip, while the large one appears to be about 200 feet in perimeter.  What we witnessed at the Owen dairy farm on 3 October 1997 matches her description of the larger craft.

  2. The asymmetrical distribution of strobes and lights (for example, the large white central light is positioned slightly off to the starboard side of dead center, and the two red strobes are not in line with one another), as well as the blue-green color of the "green" starboard light, are characteristics of these anomalous craft.
         For example, on 10 July 1992 the Manta Ray flew over Cornet on South Searsville Rd., Montgomery, NY (Figure 7).  Cornet ran out of film.  The Manta Ray stopped and hovered, waiting for Cornet to put in a new roll of film.  The next pictures he got of the diamond-shaped craft flying overhead show multicolored asymmetrically-positioned lights.  Either that or the craft was flying rotated at an angle.

  3. The absence of white noise and the composite nature of the frequency spectrum for its engine sound indicate that the sound recorded is probably synthetic and not mechanical.  Similar synthetic sounds have been recorded for other Pine Bush AOP/UAP.

     

 

 

  1. The recording of a pilot asking the control tower to turn up the runway lights, and then thanking the tower for complying, strongly implicates a human pilot and a possible military aircraft landing at Stewart Air Force Base.  However, there has been strong evidence for mimicry.  See Mimicry may be the Objective of ETI Triangular and Diamond-shaped Probes.  It would not be out of consideration that this boomerang intentionally flew over us when an aircraft was on approach to Stewart.  The broadcast of a request to the control tower would be coincidental, giving the boomerang a great cover.  Such timing has been a common ploy used in the past, but uncovered when the type of aircraft that landed did not match what was witnessed in the field.
  2. Bruce Tilden was stationed at Stewart International Airport, photographing and recording all the aircraft that landed and took off during the time the other members of the team made observations at the Owen dairy farm.  Unfortunately, he remained there only until about 8:30 pm, and did not see any aircraft landing at the time the boomerang would have landed.
  3. If he had remained at Stewart, his data might show that the boomerang landed at Stewart airport, solving one mystery.

Delta and triangular craft are amongst the most commonly reported UFO at this particular time.

Dimensions for these craft have been witnessed as varying from the size of a small aircraft, to the size of a football field. The delta is often reported as resembling the wing of an aircraft. The colour of both craft ranges from black, charcoal, metallic and gun metal grey.

Normally they display an orange, white or red light at each point of the triangle, with a much larger light in the centre which often acts as a beam or strobe. The delta and triangular shaped craft have been witnessed to hover for long periods of time and is often seen to point it's nose downwards while in a stationary position as if observing the spectators.

These craft are capable of travelling at a snail's pace as well as at great speeds. Noise levels have been reported as a deep throbbing sound and at others as completely silent. Again these two craft do not turn as a normal aircraft might, but have been seen to rotate, especially while hovering.

One intriguing feature of the triangular and delta crafts is that they have been witnessed to suddenly split into two different objects and fly off either together or separately.

 

New report and drawing from Jacksonville FL.

 

I was driving from NC Fayetteville to Daytona Beach Fl, at about 10:00 PM July 28, 2008.

I was 17 miles north of Jacksonville Fl. on Highway I-95.

I was driving at about 70 mph when I saw this object hovering on the highway.

At first I though that it was a Helicopter giving tickets from the air , so I reduced speed to 60 mph.

When I got closer to the object (300 feet horizontal distance and about 50 to 80 feet vertical altitude ) I realized that it was not a Helicopter (at that moment I was about 70 feet horizontal distance and 50 feet to 80 feet vertical altitude)

The UFO starting to move to my left side (90 degrees from driver seat) at that point because I did not see the rotors I thought that it was not a Helicopter, but perhaps a small Aeroplane.

But the object was moving too slow, about 10 mph, and did not have beacon lights, nor red or green lights, like an Aeroplane .

It did not have the shape of an Aeroplane nor the sound, because when I rolled down my window I heard only the engine of my car.

It was triangular delta shape, 3 white lights, one in each corner of the triangle shape (underneath)

Color was metallic gray, the borders were rounded, and it appeared to have layers of metal underneath.

The object was about 35 feet long , the lights were about 24 inches .

When I noticed and realized that it was not an Aeroplane, nor Helicopter, I pulled over the side of the highway and I got out of my car.

At this moment the object was about 300 feet, and at the same altitude, but at about my 6 o'clock position. Then it went over the trees, at about my 5 o'clock position, and disappeared between the trees.

This happened within a 2 to 3 minute time frame.

After I arrived at Daytona beach and told my friend what happened, we went on the Internet looking for UFO shapes, and we founded the shape on your web site.

I am pilot with ( 190 HOURS) Private Pilot Licenses and working with on my instrument rating and I pretty much can distinguish Aeroplanes and Helicopters at night. I had been in service (US Army) for more than 8 years and I had never seen something like that in my life (Military nor civilian Aviation)

Report from Nick In Essex Upminister. date: 23/03/05 Direction : from the North to the South,towards Kent,no Sound

I am just letting you know of the UFO sighting I have seen from my back garden.

It was 10:01 and I was in the garden having a fag when I saw a bright light in the distance.

I thought it was a star at first, then it came over me and split into 3 distinct bright orange triangles.

I thought they were fighter jets by the formation, it was a V.

Its how they moved which made my mind up that they were not planes, they could move at any angle, They darting around. It looked like they were going through each other.

They then went back into formation and what I saw went into one,they then carried on going in the same direction.

All this happened in 3 min. This isn't the first time I have seen these, the same thing happened about 8 months ago, same place, and nearly the same time.

But that time. they were very low, under the low cloud. They were also darting around all over the place. I saw the hot spots on the corners looked like engines because they were white could be extreme heat?

I am not sure if anyone else around this area have seen these strange shapes in the sky.

 

Report of possible triangular craft, pursuby helicopters.

A man and his wife were out in the country in Morongo Valley California, near an area know as 29 palms to take some photos of the countryside, when they saw a craft flying very fast from east to west.

The man managed to take a photo of the craft which he thought was triangular shaped, before it flew off into the distance. He also thought the craft was faster than any plane he had seen, except that this craft made no noise.

On lowering the camera he noticed three helicopters either chasing the first craft or at least going in the same direction, and managed to take a photo of one of the helicopters. He noted that they were green coloured, and made the sound usually associated with helicopters.

Personal UFO report from LouAnne.

 

It was about 10 years ago that I saw the triangular UFO.

I live in South Carolina, and at that time my dad and I used to go to auctions. (They run really late)

We were on our way home. Dad was driving the van, I was in the passenger seat. We had the windows rolled down, and I was in the habit of looking at the sky, to see if I could see anything.

When I first saw the craft, all I saw was a large white light, like a spotlight. I thought it was a helicopter looking for someone.

 

I kept looking at it, as it appeared to be moving in the same direction as we were. As we got closer, I could see it was not a helicopter and thought perhaps it was a plane. Maybe it was in trouble, so I still kept looking at it.

 

It still appeared to be going in same direction as we were, then it sped up and went in front of us, quite a ways down the road.

 

I could still see the white light that had first drawn my attention. As we continued down the road, we saw it was hovering over the road! It was just over the trees, and as we went under it I stuck my head out the window to see if it was a new plane, helicopter or what.

 

The only sound that I heard was from the van I was in. If it made a sound, it was not a loud one. What I saw is difficult for me to describe. Even though I see the craft clearly in my mind's eye, it is like there is a block that comes when I try to describe it,but here goes.

 

The craft was triangular in shape. It was large enough that when we went under it, I could not see the sky. There were 3 points (naturally), but one point was pointing away from the road to the right. The other 2 were on the same side, on the opposite side of the road. The white light that I had seen initially was slightly off center, and was not pointing directly down, but off to the right. Because of this I was able to see the underbelly of the craft.

 

There were sections, I do not know how to describe what was in the section. The point that was pointing away from the road was lit-up. There were strips from the tip back the entire length from the lit-up section. There were also curved strips going the opposite way like support for it or something. I got the impression it was the 'cockpit.' I do not know why.

 

I do not remember coming out the other side. If there was a time loss, there wasn't much of one, or I did not notice it. I have tried talking to my dad about it, to get his opinion. He would not talk about it.

Since his accident last year, my dad does not remember it. I did not know what to think since before that I thought all UFOs were saucer or cigar shaped.

 

I have seen a photo of a triangular UFO that looks ALMOST like the one I saw. They had it labeled the Belgium UFO. Since, I have found out that UFOs fitting my description are seen a lot overseas Since my sighting, I have been trying to get all the info I can about this kind of UFO.

DARK TRIANGULAR UFO HOVERS OVER IDAHO CAMP
Many rational people believe we are not alone in the universe. Three hunters in an unspecified location near Challis, Idaho (population 1,100) learned for themselves on the night of Friday, October 27, 2000 that this theory may hold water.
The report revealed that an individual spotted a dark triangular object floating silently above him while he was standing by his pickup truck.
The hunter said he and his three buddies were in dry camp, so alcohol couldn't be blamed for what he and two of the others saw. The individual said that as he approached his pickup at about 9:45 p.m., he 'got a feeling of a thick, heavy blanket above me and chills down my spine.' He said he shined his flashlight on the dark triangular object floating directly above us and our camp trailer." The man fell into profane disbelief and then called for his buddies to come see for themselves.
He said he could see the rounded dark edges and the flat bottom that had a texture like suede leather and was colored gold-gray. He said that after he shined his light on the object, it throttled up with a deep low sound of intense power and floated straight up and then forward up a steep canyon, moving like a hockey puck sliding on ice. The other party members grabbed their binoculars to check it out until it moved out of sight.
 
The account said that as the object throttled up, three lights, one at each corner of the triangle, came on. Each one was about 10 feet (3 meters) in diameter and glowed like a dim dome light. Another light in the center was described as being 20 feet (6 meters) in diameter, protruding below the bottom of the object about eight feet (2.3 meters), was deep red and pulsed at (a rate of) once a second.
 
The outline of the entire object had a light halo around it. The shape, wrote the hunter, was a perfect triangle, radiant corners and rounded edges. There was no smell, no feeling of blowing, no prop wash or thrust of any kind.

 

Report 3

 

Uk Report.

 

It was dusk, the sky was clear but with slight patchy cloud. The stars were visible but the sky was not dark yet. I was sitting on a seat in the garden just looking at the sky. It was a quite a warm evening for September in the UK

 

We are about 25 miles from our local airport, which is East Midlands, and I had noticed 2 or 3 commercial planes with vapour trails, and their wing and tail lights flashing at high altitude flying north and south. The garden faces in a south westerly direction.
As I looked directly above me I noticed a vee or delta formation of lights. There were at least 10 to 15 lights on either side of the delta shaped. The delta shape was static with no engine noise at all. It kept this position for 4-5 seconds as if it were scanning the area or me. I didn't take my eyes of the shape, the lights appeared to be green/yellow in colour and they did not appear to be round, more oval in shape.

 

The delta had no back or form as in a triangle, just the delta wing as I could see the sky directly behind the lights. The delta shape then moved slowly across the sky for just a second or two, then the movement was so rapid I could not track with the human eye. It did not disappear at the front of my eyes, it was just as if it went faster than my eyes could react. The position of the delta was north to south. To me it looked like it was tracking or mapping the area and something made it stop so it could be monitored. I would say it would be travelling faster than light.

 

Report 4

 

March 4, 1988 was a clear, crisp night. The stars were clearly visible, especially to the north over the lake where there are no city lights. Venus and Jupiter were bright and in close proximity to each other in the western sky. At about 6:30 P.M., S.B. (Name withheld) and her children were driving home to Eastlake along the lake shore when they observed a large blimp-like object with lights at each end, hovering over the lake and rocking up and down like a "teeter totter." One light was brighter than the other and was strobing.

 

On arriving home, she asked her husband to accompany her to the beach about 200 yards north for a closer view of the object which she described as "larger than a football field at arm's length." She and her husband walked onto the beach. The noiseless object was gun metal grey and seemed to cause the ice on the lake to rumble and crack loudly in an unusual way which frightened her. The witnesses had to shout to be heard by each other, and were surprised that no dogs were out barking as would have been expected. After observing the object for a while, the couple became concerned for the safety of their children in the car when the object revolved slowly about 90 degrees, coming almost overhead (about 1/4 mile high) and pointing its "front" end down toward them.

They drove the children home (which was only one street up from the lake) and continued watching the object from their living room window which faces the lake. A neighbour was phoned and she and her son went to the beach, reporting the same thing. They took photographs which did not turn out (others from elsewhere would). The object began to descend and the witnesses returned to the beach, where it was now observed to have red and blue blinking lights. It emitted 5 or 6 noiseless, intensely bright yellow triangular lights from its side. Mr. B. noticed a brighter light at the apex of the triangles. They intermittently hovered around the larger object, darted and zigzagged into the night sky at velocities far in excess of known aircraft. Mr. B stated the noiseless triangular objects were smaller than a one-seat Cessna and travelled 50 mile stretches low over the ice in the "snap of a finger." They were said to be able to approach the shore, turn abrupt right angles due east toward a Power Plant about 12 miles away, climbing rapidly and returning again, all within several seconds.
By this time, a Coast Guard patrol vehicle had arrived on the beach in response to S.B.'s several phone calls. The triangular objects came closer to the shore, causing the witnesses to become concerned that the lights on the Coast Guard vehicle would attract the objects and the lights were turned off. The triangles continued to fly off at high speed northward over the lake and eastward toward the Power Plant. About an hour later, they returned one at a time into the large ship, which then landed on the ice. Several multicolored lights now came on for about 5 minutes on the bottom of the object "in a wave like a movie theatre sign." When these went off, the ice stopped making noise and everything became "dead silent." The object could no longer be seen within about a half hour and it was assumed to have gone below the surface. The next day, huge pieces of broken ice were observed in the area of the landing.

The Coast Guard informed Mr. and Mrs. B the following day that the Army and NASA had instructed them not to investigate the matter further or go out on the lake in their cutter to observe the ice in the area of the landing, since the matter was "out of their league and out of their hands." They informed the couple that all information was being forwarded to Wright Patterson Air Force Base and a facility in Detroit, Michigan. In response to a Coast Guard inquiry, Wright-Patterson refused to confirm or deny any interest in these activities

 

Report 5.

 

On Saturday evening just after dark on November 18, 1995 an arrowhead-shaped UFO was spotted to the east approx. 100 yards. From Davis Ridge Road hovering just above tree top level, shinning a beam downward behind the neighbour's home.
It was motionless and totally silent. It had a light at each corner and the beam came from the centre. It was approx. 40' x 25'. After I got out it started moving west at about 5 mph. We followed until it descended behind a ridge out of sight about a half mile away.
The neighbour's had cattle out back. I also work as the founder and administrator of a satellite and high altitude survey and mapping oriented organization that provides information about new technology for discovering natural resources and minerals, surveying, guides, and related issues. I'll take any test to prove the validity of my observation. My family is highly respected in the community as honest and truthful.

On one Saturday evening just after dark the black, arrowhead-shaped UFO was hovering silently as it cast a cone-shaped beam into the neighbour's back yard. We couldn't see what it was shining on as it was behind the crest of the high-ground behind the house where the cattle were kept. I got out of the car which was stopped in the middle of the road and looked over the roof at the UFO in astonishment. It was completely silent. It had a light at each corner underneath and the beam came from the bottom center of the craft.

Apparently, we were spotted too, and the UFO turned the beam off. Then it proceeded at a low speed (approx. 5 mph) to the west. We were observing the Ufo eastward from Davis Ridge Road at first. It came almost directly over us. It was about 80' off of the ground. It continued west and we turned the car around and followed. The road ran north and south though, and by the time we were heading west coming off the ridge we saw it descend below a ridge to the west of us.

We saw it no more. The whole affair lasted about 15 minutes. Everyone in the car saw it. We all had gotten out to see it before we jumped back in to pursue it. I got the impression that the occupants of the craft couldn't care less if we saw it that night, as it seemed to be in no hurry for the most part.

I saw this UFO in 1996 when I lived in Clacton-On-Sea, there was a Chinese spy satellite due to come down so the light in the sky drew my attention.

I did some quick research on the web and found the Satellite came down on March 12 1996 at 11:05pm EST. As I recall, I saw the UFO at about 5.30pm UK time and I think the satellite had come down around midday but I didn't know this at the time of the sighting. I was walking home from the bus stop after college, it was dark but the street lights were still an orange colour as they were still warming up. I glanced up at the moon and a light to the right of it caught my eye, it was the same colour orange as the street lights but was bigger and at about twice their height.

I stopped and stared at it, trying to figure out if it was a light on a crane or something but as well as being illuminated it also seemed to have a spherical metallic surface and I started to think maybe it was a helium balloon. Then it started to move, it floated up with a slight arc (not straight up) and seemed to be swallowed up by darkness. I lost sight of it and continued walking, still looking up in case I could see it again. I then noticed some small misty white lights above me, as I looked at them I suddenly realised that they were arranged around the sides of a huge black shape which was blocking out the stars. I'm about 95% sure that it was triangular, it definitely had straight edges and there were 5 lights as I remember.

The object pretty much filled my whole field of vision which combined with the fact that it was a black object against a black sky made it hard to be 100% sure about the number of sides. There was also a rectangle of light in the center but it was like light reflecting off a flat raised section rather than a light source, the long edges of the rectangle were sharp and the short ones were more diffuse. The object passed directly over me from right to left, rotating very slowly. It was completely silent, and I'd estimate it was flying or rather floating at roughly treetop level. Altitude and size are pretty hard to judge from below but I would estimate it was about the size of a house and the orange sphere was about the size of a beach ball or maybe a bit bigger. The triangle(?) slowly gained altitude and I lost sight of it as it passed over the houses to my left.

I kept looking for it as I continued home but all I saw were the lights from normal air traffic which were at a much higher altitude than the object I had seen. I kept an eye on the local press for a few weeks afterwards but I am not aware that anyone else saw this object.

  Is Northrop Grumman building a secret bomber prototype? In late April, the company revealed first-quarter financial results. Data indicated $2 billion in new "restricted programs" contract awards at Integrated Systems, the aircraft division. This almost certainly confirms what DTI first reported earlier this year: Northrop Grumman has a classified, sole-source contract to build a demonstrator for the U.S. Air Force's Next-Generation Bomber (DTI March, p. 30).

 
 

NGB demonstrator may be a twin-engine aircraft resembling an X-47B. Initial version will be piloted, but an unmanned endurance version is a probable follow-on.

This almost certainly confirms what DTI first reported earlier this year: Northrop Grumman has a classified, sole-source contract to build a demonstrator for the U.S. Air Force's Next-Generation Bomber (DTI March, p. 30).

USAF budgets show no funding for the Next-Generation Bomber (NGB) itself in 2008, although documents show money for technology work in Fiscal 2008-10. Northrop Grumman CEO Ron Sugar said last year that Integrated Systems had made strides in black programs and identified restricted projects as the top new-business opportunity. Taken together, the evidence points to a single, very large contract win. Northrop Grumman also acquired Scaled Composites in 2007, a company that can develop large prototype aircraft quickly.

The $2-billion contract casts new light on the decision in January by Boeing and Lockheed Martin to reveal their year-old collaboration on NGB. (Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman declined interview requests.) Hailed as an NGB "dream team" combining Boeing's bomber experience with Lockheed Martin's stealth technology, the teaming now looks like an effort to catch up with a rival that has a lead in the next major U.S. combat aircraft program.

It is likely that the prototype will build on technology under development for the Navy's X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System Demonstrator (UCAS-D), putting within reach USAF's goal of a 2018 initial operational capability date for the bomber. Industry and USAF sources have talked about a competition in 2010, leading to the start of systems development and demonstration in 2011. But it would be Northrop Grumman's to lose.
Events since 2000 placed Northrop Grumman in pole position. USAF interest in a replacement bomber was rekindled after 9/11, but USAF Secretary Jim Roche and Chief of Staff Gen. John Jumper focused on the Lockheed Martin FB-22, seeing it as a low-risk solution that bolstered the case for the embattled F-22.
The departures of Roche and Jumper in 2005 coincided with a change in thinking. In October, USAF defined a three-stage Next-Generation Long-Range Strike program. Phase I would keep the force effective until 2018, with upgrades to aircraft. Phase II would be a new "2018 bomber," while Phase III encompassed hypersonic concepts. This was the end of the road for the FB-22, since nobody envisioned the F-22 remaining in production long enough to dovetail with Phase II.

Late in 2005, at a conference on unmanned combat air vehicles in London, there were signs of convergence between the bomber requirement and the Joint UCAS project. J-UCAS had been kicked off as a major effort three years earlier, but USAF was interested in a platform larger than the Navy could accommodate.
Northrop Grumman J-UCAS Program Manager Scott Winship said at the time that the company had proposed completing a third prototype as an X-47C with a 172-ft. wingspan and 10,000-lb. payload. J-UCAS leader Mike Francis stressed an advantage of the unmanned vehicle: an inherently lower radar cross-section (RCS) than conventional tailed aircraft.
Despite the tension in J-UCAS, it was a surprise when an early-2006 high-level Pentagon review killed it, splitting resources into a white-world Navy effort and a classified USAF program, while endorsing a plan to field a bomber in 2018.

It's now apparent, however, that USAF had already picked a primary approach to the NGB, and that the next two years of work, starting with the remaining Fiscal 2006 J-UCAS funding, are intended to validate that choice.
This approach emerged from J-UCAS, and particularly from Northrop Grumman, which anticipated the J-UCAS split and was prepared to respond. The company believed that the basic 42,000-lb. J-UCAS was better suited to the Navy than to USAF, had focused on the carrier-based J-UCAS demonstration and picked a design that offered high lift and a simple wingfold.

Northrop Grumman's proposal for a bigger X-47C also preceded -- and may have inspired -- USAF's switch to a larger long-range bomber. This meant, too, that the NGB program could get a running start because it would use aerodynamics and stealth technology that were in the works for J-UCAS.

The X-47B was much more advanced, in aerodynamic terms, than it appeared (see sidebar), and the same is likely true of its low-observable (LO) qualities. The aircraft is one of the first to combine a highly blended tailless configuration with new materials developed since the 1980s. The NGB will be the same, if not more so.
Northrop Grumman has stressed the "all-aspect, broadband" stealth inherent in the X-47B. Tailless shapes don't have the "bow-tie" RCS pattern, with the smallest RCS on the nose and tail and peaks on the beam configurations, which characterizes conventional aircraft. They are stealthier against low-frequency radars -- including updated, active-array VHF radars marketed by Russia -- because they do not have shape features which are so small that their RCS in the VHF band is determined by size, rather than shape or materials. It may be significant that John Cashen, leader of the B-2 signatures team, returned in 2006 after 10 years in Australia and is now a consultant for Northrop Grumman.

RCS test facilities across the U.S. have been upgraded since the F-22 and B-2 were designed: USAF's range at Holloman AFB, N.M., was reequipped to handle bistatic measurements, and a sophisticated airborne RCS measurement program based on a modified 737 was delivered in 2001.
How low can LO go? One paper, co-authored by a principal in DenMar Inc., the company founded by Stealth pioneer Denys Overholser, refers to the development of fasteners for a body with an RCS of -70 dB./sq. meter -- one-thousandth of the -40 dB. associated with the JSF, and one-tenth that of a mosquito. DTI queried RCS engineers who don't believe such numbers are possible; but then, when mention of a -30 dB. signature leaked out in a 1981 Northrop paper, nobody believed that either.

  The problem is a relatively simple one: that of controlling buoyancy when losing weight. In order to move about, an airship must burn fuel, so becoming lighter. The SR-71 And UFO Encounter

 

 

The SR-71 BlackbirdThe SR-71 was designed as a spy plane for the

CIA in the 60s and designated the A-12.

The Mach 3 plus aircraft first flew in 1962, taking off

from Groom AFB in Area 51. Later, once the

Air Force operated it as a reconnaissance plane,

it was designated the SR-71 black-bird.

Fouche's friend, Chuck, a SR-71 pilot, related to

him about an in-flight incident he had in the 1970s.

He was returning from a reconnaissance flight, and, while at an altitude of 74,000

feet and at the speed of almost Mach 3, (3 times the speed of sound)

he noticed something flickering in his peripheral vision. Hovering over his left

wing tip was a ball of dense plasma-like light. It was so bright, that when he

stared at it for more than a few seconds, his eyes hurt.

Chuck tried to use his UHF, HF, and VHF communications sets to no avail.
There was nothing but static. Repeatedly glancing briefly at the ball of light,
he watched in amazement as it moved effortlessly about his aircraft. At one point the
light positioned itself a few feet in front of the large spiked cone at the air Intake Inlet.
The enormous amount of air rushing into the engines should have sucked in, and
shredded almost anything in its path, but the light orb was mysteriously unaffected.

The light, he noted, acted in a curious manner, if something inanimate could act at all.

It moved from time to time to other parts of the vehicle, staying with him until his approach to

Beale AFB in California. He was in sight of the Air Base when the light swung away from his

aircraft in a wide arch with ever increasing speed.

Of course, after reading his incident report, his Operations Commander told him not to ever

speak about his experience. When Chuck related the story to Fouche, he  said he was

absolutely convinced that the ball of light was controlled by some form of intelligence.

Fouche gathered about two dozen stories from pilots of similar in flight incidents with

UFOs and plasma balls.

 

The SR-75

This hypersonic strategic reconnaissance (SR) aircraft is dubbed 'The Penetrator'. It is allegedly capable of positioning itself anywhere in the world within 3 HOURS!!! and can fly at an altitude of 13,000 metres, exceeding Mach 7 speeds of 4,500 kmph.  When the US military retired the SR-71 Blackbird back in 1990, it was stated that the aircraft would not be replaced because satellites would now do the job of spying. However, Fouche claims that the SR-75 has been designed to help the CIA/NSA satellites in orbit.
The SR-75 reportedly acts as a mothership from which the unmanned SR-74, or 'Scramp' is launched. The 'Scramp' is operated by remote control and is used to place small satellites in orbit and is said to be able to reach orbital altitudes of 151 kilometres and attain speeds of Mach 15, or just under 10,000 kmph. The plane is so top secret that we could only find an artists impression to illustrate what it looks like. To our knowledge, no publicly available picture exists of this highly top secret plane.
