Why British people do'nt apretiate cooking?


	I have been many times to England and Scotland. It's hard to realise that most of the inhabitants can't cook. They love going to the supermarket and buying some prepared food: it's the kingdom of Take Away. I'm wondering why?

	You know, I like good food, but I don't like cooking for the only reason. It takes much time, but the result disappears very quickly.

	You need some of your heart to put into the things you do to get good result. If not, result can be poor. It also can be the reason why some people prefer prepared food. They have other priorities than cooking in their day schedule.

	The only argument to prepare food for me was and is to keep my children healthy. But it's still more obligation than a pleasure or hobby.

	I've been a couple of times in Britain and I have friends over there. I think that they really enjoy good food if they didn't prepare it themselves. Why? I still don't know.

	If you can taste something prepared by expert of cooking, why not to do it? I can make ordinary everyday food, but it's really a pleasure to eat something special made by professionals. And it's often not enough time for cooking during weekdays.
