Taiwan is a island off the coast of China and there is a lot of debate going on about whether the island actually belongs to China or not. As of today Taiwan is still not considered an individual country it is still part of China. Either way, the island is relatively small and you can get to the sunny beach areas in a relatively short period of time via buss. All the sunny beach areas are located in the south of the island around a area known as Kenting. Of course there are also other attractions to visit in Taiwan like temples and parks but if you want to find the beach areas you should go to the south.

So if you want to experience an entirely new way of life and culture you should definitely visit one of the above mentioned countries. You will learn a lot of new things and meet a lot of interesting people.
