Let me start by saying thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read this story about my almost disastrous experience that was saved by a psychic.

I am a 32 year old single mother living with 3 teenagers in Deltona and recently had my mom move in to help out as I started my new career. Unfortunately a few days later her car broke down and as appreciative as I was it was impossible to drive her 45 minutes back and forth to work with my hectic schedule. My mother’s new boyfriend offered to take her back and forth to work while her car was being repaired if he could stay with us a few nights out of the week since it would save him a drive back into town to pick her up which seemed like a good idea at the time.

Shortly after I began to realize that something didn’t sound right. He was spending each night over our house and leaving after everyone and home before anyone else.  I mentioned this to my mom who said he held a high position for a company and was able to make the rules as he wanted. Not putting too much more thought into it I let it go.

My mother’s car was fixed the following week however he was still there each night. I mentioned this again to my mom who said that he had taken a vacation and that she asked him to spend a few nights to keep her company while she was sick.

Another week went by and I began to feel lied to and taken advantage of. I spoke to my mom and she asked me to let him stay until they found a place together the following week.  As hesitant as I was at first, my mother looked happy and said he would pay me weekly rent to help with the bills, so I agreed.

When I asked him for money for rent he said it would be just a bit longer as he had a big check coming in the next month and would give me extra money to compensate my patience. I began to feel something really wrong all over again and confided with a close friend of mine about this whole situation. I felt awkward at first calling a “psychic” however she was very friendly and sincere. Soon into the conversation we bonded and some of the things she said amazed me.  She told me that my mom’s boyfriend was going over to my sister’s house asking to borrow money that he would repay. She also told me that 2 pairs of earrings and a ring which I had from childhood that were missing from an old jewelry box that I kept hidden under some books in my closet.

I called my sister and asked her why she didn’t tell me that our mother’s boyfriend had asked her for money. She was shocked to find out that I knew and said not to mention anything because he was going to pay her back with extra when he got his check. She asked me again how I knew and I told her through a psychic. She said I was out of my mind and I told her that there had to be more going on that we didn’t know about so I went back to the website this time with her and we both listened on how the psychic described that he now had taken a credit card (that I thought I had lost) and few checks from a new account of mine since the time we last spoke.

I called my bank, credit card company and also informed the police to be on the alert for someone possibly using them. He was caught three days later and put in custody. I never did collect on the rent he owed but I am just grateful that I was able to finally close this horrible chapter in my life and move on.

It may seem strange to have someone on the other end of the phone telling you unbelievable things but take it from me, if I didn't have an open mind to take a chance not only would my identity and bank account be taken but you might have been the next victim to this con artist.
