The third season of Gilmore Girls is one of the best in all seven seasons. This season, Rory [Alexis Bledel] is his last year in a private school in Chilton and the faces of some of the most trying times, it was a game manouvering policy, the student body, or a love triangle between her, Dean [Jared Padalecki] and Jess [Milo Ventimiglia]. Alexis Bledel does a great job this season and really shows his maturity as an actor.
Of course, Lorelai [Lauren Graham] still shines in his role as a single mother, her daughter's best friend and start-owner of Inn. Lorelai, fresh romantic disappointments of the previous two seasons to find themselves lost in a sense, and dates around, do not ever really find a soulmate. Diner owner Luke Danes [Scott Patterson] has always paid its continued support and, of course, Luke and Lorelai chemistry is just something magical, it's as good friends or two people slowly pulled toward each other.
The troubled relationship between Lorelai and her parents Richard and Emily Gilmore [Kelly Bishop and Edward Hermann] passes through the usual period of turbulence and its always fun to see Lorelai in action and their parents in their place, despite his authoritarian attitude. Emily Bishop Kelly is a delight to see how he plays the snob, who controls the character perfectly.
