Being as smart as I am (lol), I read a lot about this online dating stuff before I put my profile out on the first site.
So I knew about scammers and how to recognize one when you meet him (or her, but in my case it's obviously men who try...).
Scambusting has become kind of a hobby since then, but that's sad, because it's not why I started this in the first place...
On the sites that I've been it seems like at least 80% of the folks around are scammers.
But then, there have to be real people among them or this online dating industry would disappear from the face of the internet pretty soon.
So I'll keep on busting bad guys and waiting for the good ones...
