Unrequited Love

Eyes wiser than mind,

Reveal emotions once blind.

For they that saw,

Predicted this flaw.

Incomplete but concealed,

Hopeless yearning now revealed.

Unanswered love forbidden,

Words and dreams are hidden.

Still my fate is undecided,

Heart and mind divided.

To deny my heart's will,

Nothing would fulfill.

Longing, despair,

Unjust, unfair.

Waiting in vain,

Accustomed to this pain.

Unrequited love is all it could be,

Regardless of how I plea.

Impossible to find reason,

Agony I deserve for this treason.
