Loveland - The realization of two years of planning and research,
Treasure Cove Consignment at 118 E. Seventh St. Specializes in furniture
and home decor,arredamento casa along with high-end new and used purses handcrafted items from local artists.
Deborah Basiliere Opened Treasure Cove Consignment on Jan. 3 in the western section of the former Penner's Appliance building.
"I love the idea of recycling," she said. "I am not a throwaway person."
Basiliere said she rents out space in her 2,000-square-foot building
to vendors who want to set up displays and then takes 10 percent of the
price of Each Item sold. People who want to drop off merchandise to sell
for her turn over 40 percent of the sale price.
She said she's happy to be Able to give people the opportunity to
make money on Their items, Especially in a tough economy. "If people are
forced to downsize, They can at least make some of Their money back,"
she said.
On the flip side, "People can find nice Things That are less expensive," she said.
Basiliere plans grand opening event on Feb. 4 Which Harvey Penner,arredare casa retired former owner of the Penner's Appliance, will attend. She said
her landlord has-been a big help with the launch of her first business
venture.
