Very good question that I'm sure any honest person has asked. From some of the blogs I'd guess that around 98% of the site is scammers and phishers and the other 2% are fighting a losing battle to bring this site back to what it should be. If I'm wrong please correct me.

Of course we have laws about fraud. When I say 'we', I mean the United States. Unfortunately, our laws are worthless in Africa. But, if you have enough money, you can bribe officials in Africa to look the other way.

99.99% of the members on here are involved in some sort of scam or another. I have yet to talk to ANYONE (male or female) who does not fit the profile of a scammer. The only solution for the .01% of the REAL, HONEST PEOPLE on here is to know what to look for and ignore them. Reporting them does absolutely no good.

I just joined yesterday and have been sent messages from Arabian type people so far, was wondering the same thing, is this a real site?

There some African countries that operate strict laws about fraud. Just dont be giving anyone money because of some sob stories or some too good to true type of investments. If you fall for it its because you hoped to get something of it through your greed. Ask some very serious questions before you open up to anyone. Get on vdeo chat with the person, make a phone call at various intervals you are bound to find their flaws and report them.

I am sick of scammers. I just joined this site recently. It is unfortunate to know that there are so many scammers running rampid on this site. But it was like that on the other site I got scammed on.

I've joined it some time ago with a real profile - kept getting mail like the ones mentioned above - so I decided to see if people were really that silly to write to a definitely unrealistic profile - well, they are! The thing is, I usually don't reply or reply with irony or sarcasm, and still they keep at it - so not only scammers, but really stupid too.

I am new to this site too, but it is kinda funny but about 15 women that are in Africa. One said NY, but now Africa. I am just waiting for one to ask me for money to come and see me, but I know it is just a joke. Just as I know alot of people in Africa are contacting you, please reply.

I get allot from Russia as well as Africa. Lately what I do is when they direct me to another email, I don't contact them. Even then though, you never know but its one security measure and also I look for a real photo and not some cell pick.

This is a sick joke . Some son of a bitch motherfucker is preying on lonely men and women looking for love , friendship , or just someone to get to know to do things with and profiting ! This whole site is a scam and a fraud . It should be reported to the FBI and taken down . The person behind this should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law .

I joined a few days ago, and I was thinking the same thing. It seems they are all scammers. Even though I specify in my profile that I am only interested in American men, 99% have been from Africa or India. Don't like this site at all. Where are the American men?

I agree this site is great joke. any good looking girl profile lead to Ghana or to some spammers site. I wonder if there is any site like that but with reall people !

why even be a part of this site,if you only have less than 1% chance of meeting a real person.seriously think about it we are here to find friends and mates,but if its impossible to do that here whats the point sticking with this site.
