Look at those who long for

But distance seems to be a recurrent enemy

I have to cope with as long as we

Settle down the engagement and all this.

If you were here, there´s no need

To daydream. If I were there,

I won´t be all there ´cos I know where

I belong and who I want to woo.

(nobody else, but YOU).

It´s you the woman whose love

I seek all day long, whose body I wish

Alone to please with hugs and a kiss,

But mind plies with questions:

“When could I smell your fragrantes

´cos words and pics smell like dried roses.

When could I lift you up? ´cos writings

Have been our ligature, but love music needs

Instruments to play and its human spectrum

To be heard and felt in a body.”

I have seen you, but lacked your touching.

I know your mind, but lacked your body,

And I´m not sure this could go on and on.

I feel myself a lifer!

It is my first time feeling like this

And we don´t deserve being deprived

Of the full measure of the joy of being one,

Belonging to each other.

I´ve got no consolation

looking at somebody´s screen…

It´s just a desolation!
