Good for you Ladypink. I do the very same way with the women on this site since about 95% of the emails I get are from scammers. Be careful, the men scam just as bad.

Thanks for the encouraging words. Even today I got several e-mails that were just the same. They said that they read my profile and that they wanted to get to know me better. But the last thing that they put in the e-mail was that they wanted me to send them my private e-mail and add them to my messanger list. This just turns my stomach. If they read the profile they don't read it very carefully. I put all of that information in all caps.

Hi ladypink, i believe you are doing the right thing.But as much as you go on depriving them, know that a time will come they will stop and you will wish that you shouldnt have been too hard on them.My advice is dont deprive them but becareful. Ok lady ! Such people don't waste their time in reading profiles, cause they are not here(or any where else) for reading profiles but for scamming ! Tow reasons behind asking for your private emails; the first is to missuse your email address, the secound ; they try to talk to you privately on hopes they can convince you to help them out and send them money or they might ask for your bank's account by telling you pulshit stories,,,, what ever it might be, just delete their messages !

hey we all have to deal with scammers, it's apart of playing in the playground...it's life! there are dishonest people everywhere...get used to it. whining and crying about the same thing that everyone here has to deal with is not going to attract your soul-mate to you...it comes off as rather pathetic and makes you THAT much more of a target! of course that might just be my opinion alone....and romeo, you might want to tone it down a notch. you're not doing anything to anybody! except hiding behind your computer trying to be a tough guy that can't spell too good....again...PATHETIC

Hey everyone, again thanks for encouraging me to stick with what I believe I should be doing. As for whinning about it I've been on several different online sites in the last 6 months and most of what I got was scammers. I never said a thing I would just delete my profile and not go back to that site. Well my father always told me that I had to stand up for what I knew in my heart was right. Well I'm finally doing that guys. I'm sorry if you don't like and if you think that it sounds like I'm whinning. The truth of the matter is I'm 38 years old and I've lived through more crap than most people would ever want to think about living through in 50 years. If a person really wants to get to know me then they will really take the time to read my profile and not be offened by me wanting to use this site only to talk with them. Once I get to a point where I know in my heart I can trust them then I will see what I want to do. Again thanks for encouraging me, but please try and understand as well that I'm not doing this or saying any of this lightly.

Sometimes it's just about the numbers so your strategy is a good one. I once had a couple of buddies I played hockey with. When we hit the club they would stand on opposite sides of a walkway to the ladies room but still in the bar. They would take turns introducing their "shy" friend until they caught a fish. They claimed 20 % success rate. Not bad if there are 300 great looking woman in the bar that night. Sad thing is that they were getting laid every night!!!
