wow... harsh I thought the purpose of blogs were so that people could write about things that bugged them, or anything they wanted to.... But Kean and Hamilton wrote that although US President George W. Bush had ordered all executive branch agencies to cooperate with the probe, "recent revelations that the CIA destroyed videotaped interrogations of Qaeda operatives leads us to conclude that the agency failed to respond to our lawful requests for information about the 9/11 plot."

"Those who knew about those videotapes -- and did not tell us about them -- obstructed our investigation."

They continued: "There could have been absolutely no doubt in the mind of anyone at the CIA -- or the White House -- of the commission’s interest in any and all information related to Qaeda detainees involved in the 9/11 plot.

"Yet no one in the administration ever told the commission of the existence of videotapes of detainee interrogations," Kean and Hamilton wrote.

They said the panel made repeated, detailed requests to the spy agency in 2003 and 2004 for information about the interrogation of members of the Islamic extremist network but were never notified about the existence of the tapes.

The CIA revealed last month that in 2005 it destroyed videotapes that showed harsh interrogations of two Al-Qaeda members

Well, although I agree with Kiz's opponents in saying that free speech is part of such messaging, at the same time, I think Kiz is right that given that it's a free service, complaining about lack of security etc is a bit much. It's free and it's rather good, and it's our responsibility as adults to work out who is a scammer and who isn't . It's normally not difficult.

The thing that I think is appalling is the way that people seem to need to call each other names instead of just having a debate.

A committee of the New Jersey Assembly last Thursday approved the resolution, just one of several steps lawmakers had to take by Monday, the last day of the current legislative session.

The Assembly and the Senate voted overwhelmingly -- 29-2 -- to approve the resolution. The resolution states that "the fundamental values of Africans were shattered; they were brutalized, humiliated and dehumanized."

New Jersey, it reads, had 12,000 slaves, one of the largest populations in the northern colonies.

We have to continue to complain about the scammers. The word is still not getting out to people about romance dating scammers. Older people new to the internet and dating sites do not know about this crap going on. I belong to a anti scamming group. We get new victims almost daily joining that got scammed. So bear with it, we shall continue to complain until the word gets out.

Maybe we are not all complaining, but advising.

Helping others who are a little naive or have just come online to be wary of unscrupulous people.

I like scam-baiting. It's like playing with a large dog. Trying to take the stick out of it mouth, knowing it could turn it's attentions to your arm or hand. You get to read the signs & know when to back off. I think everyone should have at least 3 sessions with different scammers to know how easy you can cope with them. Then when you find a true person, you can give your full trust to them.

See it as another lesson in life - experience is more useful & rewarding than anything that you read here. Just don't fall for anything that sounds suspect, especially sending money or even giving personal details to them.
