All of us go through the same dumb thing: which one of these people who are emailing me and inviting me to starbucks, or a baseball game or whatever are scammers. there are a few easy ways to tell, although if you really don't want to be screwed over by scammers don't try and find a date on the internet. I know I am being a total hypocrite, but why does everyone need to know so badly who is and who isn't? Can't we just forget it and expose those who are? Hopefully this will help everyone figure out who is and isn't.

 3 Ways to Tell from Photos:

1. They only have one or no picture. It is easy for anyone to go onto the internet and get a picture of one desirable person. But it is a lot harder to get two pictures of a person on the web, and most scammers, frankly, are lazy people so they wouldn't bother. If they weren't lazy then they could just get up and work instead of trying to steal money.
   

2. In their photos they (if they are a girl) wear little or no clothing. They want to make it look like they could get you laid, thusly enticing you to want to chat with them or meet up. If they are a guy they could be a scammer if their top is off or they are wearing a speedo or something 'thought provoking'. Again, they are doing it to make us girlies swoon and want to lay them. It is all based on sex, but come on people, keep it in your pants. We aren't in puberty anymore.
   

3. Finally, the last way to tell is if the photo looks exceptionally professionally done, or if (duh) there is a website or a copyright symbol on it. Clearly, then it would be done by a company to release out on the internet, and is not something that they themselves took with a camera. Rather, they took someone's identity. 
   

   Why trust me on this? I had a major in Photojournalism. I think I would know. Comments? Questions? If anyone needs anymore reasons, I would love to give them. Let us just all agree to finally put this to rest and be done with it.
