| I'll skip the profanities and say thanks for putting in words what we all shuold be thinking and doing. Not all Nigerians or Russians are scammers but those who are give these countries a bad name. That makes a tough situation even harder for somebody that just might be legitimate. The best practice is to use common sense. If you enter the person's Yahoo address on Google and get 5 or 6 pages it's pretty sure the person is a scammer. On the other hand if nothing comes up than play it out and see what happens. If it's a scam then you'll get the money letter sooner or later. But maybe it's not a scam and you've found the 1% of this website that is a real person. | |

| I agree with simply gordon there are good and bad in Russia and Nigeria. I can assure you. But that is actually true for all countries. It is wrong to abuse and accuse people because of their home country. Until they ask for money give them the benefit of the doubt. Remember also that you might not be writing to the person you think you are. If tehy are reluctant to give you their full name, telephone number or address after you have written some letters alrm bells should start to ring. | |

| yes i am finding that every one who writes to me is from another country. i have my profile up that says if your not from ny then dont bother writing i will not respond there is no way i would go or start a relationship with someone from another country.but yes one time i didn meet someone from another country and he did turn to ask me for money.. that was over real quick.. haha sucker thought he was getting my money..lol yeah right...no way..they are smooth and caring.. and act like they are in love..right.. stay in your own state.. | |

| over 50% are nigerians.. the rest togolese and a lil ghanaians.. now because many websites are blocking nigeria, theyre trooping to thos who speak alil english are trooping to ghana everyday.. almost 50 arrive here in Ghana everyday. omg.. they are now destroying the country and its trust on internation front lil by lil.. then every site would block ghana too.. oh, not forgetting, they have this intention that it is good. because, they say its a punishment to the Whites for stealing african natural resouces and slave trade... so they re retrieving it back.. so funny.. its all now to you to think. lol. all the best. | |
