If you are spending almost 90% of your payroll paying bills, you’re most likely end up with no savings at all. Now is the time to create a significant change and start making savings your number one priority.

Stop buying stuff that is not necessary at all and try not to impress a lot of people buying luxurious gadgets and clothing. These simple spending habits can help you load up your savings and greatly cut down your expenses. Being thrifty and learning to wisely manage your expenses will lessen the number of years you need to work to attain financial independence. Just imagine, fewer working years, early retirement and financially independence. Sounds great doesn’t it?

Take risks!

If you’re in your late 20’s or early 30’s, you may want to take some calculated risks by investing in a business opportunity and stocks that you know can lead you to generate passive income. Allot at least 10 to 15% of your personal savings and invest in something that seems viable and worthwhile.

Trying to invest and taking risks within these years will also help you gain invaluable experience and knowledge. You may undergo success and pit falls. But, at least you’re trying and you’ll never regret it in the future. You’re young and you can work hard again to rebuild what’s lost and strengthen your weaknesses.
