God, too true on both the Russian & Nigerian scammers. Once you call their bluff, you never hear from them again. I have even seen the same gals on other dating sites with the same
bull s _ _ t!!!!!!!!!!! I bring it to their attention & they have a memory failure even though I can quote or copy their replies to me on this site or others.
Plus, the replies are almost always the same...instant love & want to be with you?????
I really think once you reply then it goes to their dating service & others seek you out even though you have never communicated with them?!
I am vacating this site permanently.
Good luck

careful guys...yesterday i received an email supposedly from the fbi...hahahaha.

they warned me not to deal with xxx concerning yyy or i would be summoned to washington dc.

im so glad the fbi uses email now. wink...have fun but watch the africans...they never turn you loose. i get at least 3 per week

also fuzzy pictures are a dead bang giveaway

to SUNDIAL...they actually have handbooks so dont give away trade secrets...these gangs are big business....not just individuals. think african mafia...you might even say...actual real life 'black hand'.

to CHHOOM...watch out guy...you may be talking to an agent...not a cam girl.

agents are just salespeople..men or women...they work from an office.
the real cam girls are usually ugly as sin. these girls work from home.

they post a fake but gorgeous glamor shot. they want you to sign up...and of course, the initial rate is cheap.

problem is: you gotta send in your credit card number...once this happens, you might as well sign up for the nearest available credit card protection. you will be calling them regularly to dispute claims.

Yes -- have seen it become more and more prevalent. The advice above is good. A couple more hooks to watch for:

1. You get sent poetry or very prosy verse with the general message of "I want to be good partner to you and make my man the happiest alive, yada yada". When you get one, take a section of the text, and do a search on the exact phrase in Google. You'll find it elsewhere. Saw one so bad that it was a cut & paste with perfect grammar for the quoted section, and horribly bad writing after it that they made no effort to adapt.
2. You get the hook for money, the promise that they'll repay when they "return" to the US, and they give you US addresses where they supposedly live that don't actually match up to anything (or worse, one gave a location on Staten Island that turned out the be a baseball field).

But there are a lot of nice Russian girls out there. The trick is - you contact them - not vice versa. get the right Russian, and you will be a very lucky man indeed. Get the wrong one - phut!
Just be sensible

Do not forget the CNP letters where you can tell that they just type in your name in the proper spaces. The text with your name on it is usually a bit darker than the rest of the letter.

If you are going to use a credit card on line, get a pay-as-you-go credit card and only load enough money in it that you will be using for the purchase and about 5$ more for trans action fees. keep a balance of less then 10$ in it at all times.
This way you will not be frauded on your real card.

God bless Russia...American women are losing good men to Russian women. American women are spoiled and really not that beautiful. American women use sex to their advantage rather than making it an act of love. Russian women are something God gave us and we should not be afraid. Just pay a little for alot of return. Russianwomenmatch.com casts about $40.00 per year.

There can be sammers in any country. Sure, there are girls in less rich countries who want to improve their life by finding foreign sponsor or husband. But it's not enough to call all living in Ghana or in Russia scammers. It's the same as to say that all lithuanians like potatoes when I hate them.
Most scammers men I met here were from UK, but I met real interesting men from UK too.
